Leaving on A Jet Plane

Man, weekends in Vegas go by too quick.

Tonight is the last night on the Strip. Packing it in. I should be back in Cleveland tonight by 7:00 pm. Depending on how I feel, a new show might be forthcoming when I arrive. There is certainly plenty to talk about and I feel like I've been neglecting this little experiment in it's infancy. So make sure check back for updates frequently. If a show doesn't happen on Monday, we will definitely be recording a new show on Tuesday night.

Gonna hit the sheets for the night. I gotta be up and be responsible (once again) to catch our plane back to frigid Cleveburg.

Catch you all soon.

Greetings from the Vegas Strip!

Howdy folks! Len checking in from beautiful Sunny Las Vegas. The weather is beautiful here. Aaron and I have been doing a lot of walking and gambling and so we haven't been able to record ANYTHING. ANY-THING. So the show next week might just be a rehash of what we saw and did rather than actually "hearing" what we did. But we still have a few days here. Anything can happen I suppose.

Thanks to everyone who is adding our RSS feed to their readers. We really appreciate it. There have been some interesting events happening on my leave. So, when I get back into Cleveland, we're going to have a lot to talk about.

Stay cool. I'll probably check in one more time before the weekend is over. Tonight is the Blue Man Group. My mom told me to bring earplugs. We'll see if I follow her advice.

Jawbone Hits the Road

Well, I'm almost ready to leave on the big Vegas trip. I'll be heading out west while Nora holds down the fort. That means that Jawbone will be taking a break for a bit. Aaron and I will be grabbing sound while we're out on the Strip. I'm hoping to get some good stuff for at least a couple of shows for next week. If you haven't already, check out some of previous shows. Or not. At the very least, vote for us at Podcast Alley.

Being the compulsive animal that I am, I probably won't be able to resist checking in at least once over the weekend.

Be Good.

The Godfather of Bullshit

Nora went to bed early, so two special guests, Aaron and Joan. stopped by to say hello. We're leaving for Las Vegas in about 24 hours, so this is the last show you'll hear until next week.

SHOW NOTES: Running 31:38
Aaron and Joan drop by to share their thoughts about why podcasting and Adam Curry both suck.

The Anti-Adam Rant Continues

So I got some interesting response from some people over the weekend about the Curry Bashing show we did. So I've decided to let others get into the act. (Thanks to Chris at The Daily Download for the idea.) Unfortunately, I can't get Skype Messaging on my Mac - yet. So I'll just have to play what people contribute. I'm still planning on sending AC a promo telling him we're railing against him. I wonder if he'll play it.

Anywho, you can leave us your anti-Adam messages (and anything else for that matter) at 206.666.2326. That's 206. 6- NO ADAM. We'll probably play whatever comes through that line during the show.

There's An Obese Man in Our Living Room

We had some time. It's snowing. And so we decided to do a show. Huzzah! We did this show sans headphones since Garageband keeps killing the monitors on us. As Mary Gibeaux says, "Hey, Whatever."

SHOW NOTES: Running Time - 27:43
The show moves from our attic to our living room!
We have our first special guest, Neil, the man who will be eating himself to obesity in our basement.

Thanks to our link to iPodder.org, we wanted to see what would happen if we bashed Adam Curry. I wanted to do more on the Anti-podcast bit, but we were both pretty tired. We're still planning on trying to cut a promo telling AC about our upcoming manifesto against him. We shall see.

The Big Valentine's Day Show

Tonight's show was tough to do. We had the Powerbook crap out on us 4 times before we were able to get a good show. But in the end, the magical mystique of Nora and I gave us a pretty decent show.

SHOW NOTES:
We start off tonight show by working on a sex farm...we share our tales of failed love, valentine day cards, being chastised during gym and the old days of jocks stealing your fries. We then take a ride on the Freelove Freeway.

Jawbone Radio - NOW WITH PRODUCTION VALUES!

We're getting better at this thing. We have a new intro and some bumps thanks to DJHojo, and we actually sound like we know what the hell we're doing. I'm thinking we probably need to have to create a schedule to do these shows, since I can't stay up utnil 2:30 am every morning working and uploading.

SHOW NOTES:
We actually have an intro to the show! Nora and I talk about the aftermath of the visit from the city inspector, we discuss the future of entertainment and radio in general and introduce the world to Hobnose. You'll also hear music from Autumndiver. If you like what you hear you can download their music from iTunes.

Second Show - Twice

We lost the first show we did, which personally, I thought was funnier with what we ended up with. But Garageband crapped out on me during the first save. What are we going to do, eh? (hopefully getting a new external firewire drive for my powerbook. I wish.)

SHOW NOTES:
Nora and I talk about our upcoming visit from the city inspector (less than 12 hours away!, what it means to be an entreprenuer, and general late night silliness.

Let the podcast begin!

Well, I just went ahead and started doing our podcast last night around 1:30 in the morning. By 2 AM it was up. Nora and I talked about our upcoming city inspection tomorrow. This means we'll have to have a follow up show. We'll see how this thing goes.

As this (hopefully) gets more complex, I will be adding show notes, etc. But for now, it is what it is.
