Wow...I don't think we did this many podcasts when we were first starting out. Anyway, the week of Len TV continues with my tribute to the Discovery Channel's "Man Vs. Wild". I think I hear Discovery knocking on my door right now...
BTW, just in case you were wondering, this will not turn into a daily vidcast. Think of it as a marathon of shows that they run on basic cable to get you hooked into the actual program. Enjoy!
Can you tell I am having fun doing these little videos? Thank you for all the e-mail and posiive comments. Keep 'em coming!
Anyway, Len TV continues with an interesting night watching the ol' Tube. And if this video proves anything, it proves that sometimes its better to hold your cards close to your chest rather than spill the beans. Enjoy the show!
Ok, so the response was really positive for the Vidcast experiment, so it looks like I'll be doing more of these. On this episode, Matt from Alaska asks us "What would Jawbone be like as a cooking show?" This is our best answer.
If you like these, let us know and help us create this...send in your ideas and questions!
"He didn't scream. It was a different, horrible plea for help, and I turned around, and by then the cat had wrestled Jim to the ground," Nell Hamm said in an interview from the hospital. Jim Hamm was recovering from a torn scalp, puncture wounds and other injuries.
Is that this weekend already? Man, I have totally been out of it sports-wise. Anyway, imagine showing up to the big party wearing this.
Look at this thing. I don't even know where to start. Who out there is wearing Super Bowl merchandise that shows support not for one of the game's participants, but for the actual game itself? When is this conversation taking place?
On tonight's show, we cover a lot of emotional ground on this one. We play a ton of voicemails, play some great podsafe music and chat a little bit about the new vidcast experiment. We also present a new segment called "Craig's Dreams". This also marks the first time that Nora and I hug live on the air. Is it worth hearing? You betcha! Dig in!
...This 79 year old man from Oregon. What bothers me the most about this video is that sickening crunch of an accident happening. Makes my stomach turn. Anyway, thanks to Monica for the link!
Apparently, I uploaded the wrong format for the video and feedreaders weren't picking it up. So hopefully, this will correct that sitch. Sorry if you got the video twice!
Ok, I have broken down and done the thing I said I would never do: Create a video podcast. Please keep in mind...this is just an experiment. I want to do much more with a video podcast if we choose to continue doing it, but I wanted to just play around and have some fun. Who knows what this will become? But we've been doing this for what's going on 3 years and I wanted to do something different.
Anyway, here is the first show. Let me know what you think. This should also be available in the regular feed, so there ya go.
I make an appearance as a panelist on this week's ExtraLife Radio. It's hard to believe I haven't been on that show since show 50 or so. Anyway, it was a good time. Go check it out now.
I am exploring some video possibilities for the show and I would like to do some test segments. But I need your help! I figured for the test, I will do an "Ask Len" segment. Go ahead and ask me a question via e-mail or the voice mail line -- 206.666.2326 -- and I'll try to answer them on a seperate vidcast. If you e-mail, make sure you put the subject line as "Ask Len Vidcast". I'll put something together and together, we'll make vidcasting history!
Since we talked about walking up on the last show, I thought I'd share these wonderful alarm clock devices with you all. My personal fave is the giggle ball that you have to chase across the floor. Hilarious. Thanks to Scott for the link.
For some reason, I woke up singing this song this morning and knew I had to find it on Youtube. This is the Japanese 80's heavy metal band, Loudness. Since they learned the songs phonetically, they had no idea what they were saying. Hence the MZA chant in the middle of the song. Their name was also a poor translation, as they wanted it to mean Toughness. God bless the Japanese! Enjoy Sunday!
My fluency in Whinese pays off. We have a lot of listener voice mails and submissions, we talk about American Idol, 24 and sleep. Plus, we introduce the Jawbone listening world to Craig, who will be sharing his dreams with us in future shows. Give us a listen!
Alaskan Matt sent this to me last year and I'm just getting to posting it now. Sheesh. Anyhow, here's a link to a video for a cool Rube Goldberg device that the Mythbusters created on their Christmas show. I saw part of it on the show, but didn't get to see the whole thing. Now, here it is! Enjoy!
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been stacked with real work from my real job and it's been keeping me really busy. Plus, Nora, the kids and I have been playing lots of Wario Ware, Zelda and Wii Sports. Plus, I am back in the World of Warcraft as a Blood Elf. You can find me on Earthen Ring once again going under the name Wiiremotus.
A new show will be forthcoming this week, hopefully.
Tonight's show, we talk about dinner clubs, frogs, moms the Y, falling apart and kids calling our voice mail. Also, I provide a whiny appeal for voicemails. Give it a listen, won't you?
Good news everyone! I've got some really nice prints of my Monster Art available for sale right now. This includes some Franken Berry, Count Chocula, Boo Berry and other images. You can see the ones available here. If you're interested, send me an e-mail and I'll fill you in with the details of having your own fresh print!
It's a new year of Jawbone Radio and believe it or not, we are fast approaching our third year. Crazy, huh? On this episode we talk about a ton of things which are too numerous to mention. But I think they involve television, video games, dragons, hanging, fryers, bad college memoroes and improv comics. Good to be back. Enjoy the veal.
