Flirting with WoW

I am toying with the idea of purchasing the MMORPG World of Warcraft for my Mac.

Someone please talk me out of this.

  1. Ugh. What gets me is that I have to pay to play. Plus the folks at EL aren't even on playing anymore. :( At least I'd know I'd get into a guild of people that I know, instead of being marginalized like the newbie I will be.

  2. I want to talk you out of it, but I am thinking of starting up myself. (Maybe that is a reason not to join)

Disneys Toon Town, will waste a ton of time too, and it is only 10 bucks a month. Plus they have trading cards.

  3. Well, here's the thing. I have Battefront 2 for the PS2 on hold for next week. And I don't know if starting WOW would be a good strategic move at this point.

Are any of you gamers going to be playing BattleFront 2 online with the PS2? If so, let me know, because I'd love to play against someone else than Japanese teens. :/

  4. I think we'll talk about this on a future show. I really want to play it, but like I said, I want to play some people who are playing Battlefront 2. On Ps2. I can't play you PC freaks. ;)

  5. Hey len, I play this game all the time.

And I am telling you, don't get it unless you can stand getting addicted.

If you do, and play alliance, get on the server Whisperwind, and join the Reservoir Dogcows. I will sponsor you :)

Its a Mac Centric guild, and they are super friendly.
