From the title of this post and the accompanying image, it may seem that Adam "Ape Lad" Koford has given birth to a monkey or some other cigar smoking simian. Not the case. Last week, Ape Lad opened himself up to drawing an additional 200 hoboes (at $10 each) that would be named via e-mails he got through the tubes. Well, he has reached his goal of 200 names and - HOT DAMN! -- the drawing has commenced.
I am in awe of this true master. if you are expecting an original Ape Lad in the mail in the next few days, may I suggest you frame that baby and get it insured. Adam is one of the most amazing artists I ever have had the honor to meet, and he has the fantastic superpower of being able to make me simultaneously seethe with envy and be humbled by his incredible wealth of talent.
