I had no idea what this thing was until Dan IM'ed me about it this morning. I had some vague reference points from Coverville and other sources, but now I totally get it. Eurovision is a worldwide songwriting competition. Each country submits one song for consideration. Looking at the entries, I doubt these got vetted through an official commitee. I can't see Switzerland okaying this Gay Vampire Song. But then again, what do I know? I'm not Swiss.
