Brilliant...If You're A Mac Guy
Hilarious. Also, I would like to remind people that John Hodgman's new book More Information Than You Require comes out tomorrow.
That is all.

Jaw-Dropping
Photoshop can be tricky to work with. But hey, if you're getting paid to retouch images, shouldn't you have a better eye for detail? Maybe this image is from the zombie version of the JC Penny catalog. See the whole pic here. Thanks Dan!

Meet McDonald's Creepy New Spokesperson
I don't know what McDonald's was one when they came up with this guy, but I personally find him revolting on several different levels. Maybe it's the Gabe Kaplan-esque hair and mustache. Maybe it's his haltingly forced attempt at humor. Or the overall lame, poser-slacker persona that he exudes. Or maybe because he just SUCKS! I saw the print ads in EW this week and they're even worse.Phew, angry bitter advertising rant coming to and end. That felt good. What do you think?

Bizarre Cadbury Commercial
DJ Hojo sends in this weird site that apparently is a new Cadbury commercial. I can't make heads of tails out of it. Maybe you can. Thanks DJ!

Good Old Fashioned Political Advertising
Sigh...I wish political advertising were like this today. I'd vote for a candidate who had awesome animation and a catchy jingle. Maybe that says something about me, but there was certainly something so simple and wonderful about this. Thanks for the link Jim.

Brilliant Ghostly Marketing
I love this idea. I would buy Ghost Pops, you better believe it, baby. Everyday vending machines were rigged with a motion sensor and a recording of a little girl telling passersby to buy Ghost Pops. When they do, the machine mists up and the word "Thanks" appears. Check it out.
